Workstyle

Workstyle Africa is a real estate company that provides businesses with the launchpad for their ideas and a space for collaboration and growth.

Overview —

In 2019 the Workstyle team approached me to redesign their brand identity to better reflect their growing offering. This included work on their brand positioning, strategy, identity, communication style and website.

Research —

Research —

As the brand had been operation for 2 years it was essential to understand their value proposition and their primary audience. Over the course of a month I ran a series of design sprints with their co-founders and worked out of their space to immerse myself in the world of workstyle. As the group was currently fitting out their second location I also took time to examine the architectural plans and interior styling decisions as it was imperative to connect the visual brand to the physical touchpoints in their space.

From the brand sprint sessions we were able to identify the brand values, character and value proposition, and audiences. We then crafted a brand positioning statement, a guideline for the brand moving forth.

The new branding elevated the aesthetic of the brand, making it a true reflection of the premium experience and exquisite design aesthetic one experiences at their locations.

Once the brand was completed I developed various communication assets for the brand including their identity elements like business cards, their website, presentation templates and the various visual assets for their app.
